A little about me...
I'm Andrew Mercer
A professionally trained and qualified Analytical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist based in Basildon, Essex
My background
Following the completion of my degree in philosophy, in which I specalised in the study of the mind and consciousness, I enjoyed a successful career in Sales and Administration, first in the city of London, then at one of the London’s most famous Landmarks. However, I felt that I was not making full use of my qualifications, this lead me into the world of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy in general. Having trained and worked while still living in London I decided to relocate back to Basildon, my former home town, having been away for almost 20 years…
I studied Hypnotherapy, Hypnoanalysis and Psychotherapy at the Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnosis, one of the foremost training institutes in the country, and recognised as such around the world
And hold the following qualifications
- Advanced Diploma in Hypnosis with Psychotherapy
- Diploma in Hypnoanalysis (Advanced)
- Advanced Analytical Hypno-Psychotherapy (Certificated)
- Certificate of studies in Clinical Hypnotherapy
- And BA (Hons) in Philosophy
I am also a registered member of
The Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy
As a member of the APHP I am bound by a Strict Code of Ethics, and am committed to a high level of professionalism, on-going training, and supervision, ensuring that my clients receive a safe, sound therapy.
The National Register of Advanced Hypnotherapists
The NRAH is only open to experienced practitioners who have shown a dedicated commitment to the profession and a continuing application of high standards of professionalism.
